They could make potions that are organic in nature and make nomads cuddly and fluffy pets.
It's always best to find roleplay excuses for a fixed point that you want to reach.

I'm still not convinced by this group, haven't met you in game but the story itself which apparently is an import( I'm not an anime fan) doesn't fit with the discovery lore too well. What are you going to do in game? act like another military faction? Do some weird mad scientist RP? A bit more of explanation would be great.
Right now this sounds more like something belonging to the Stories & Biographies section (despite the fantasy elements) than a faction.

What will you actually do ingame?
EG.
Will you go fight the LN in Liberty?
Will you go out to the Omicrons to hunt down Nomads?
How are you going to roleplay the Nomads aspect of this?
- Have you read the Nomad lore?
What stations ingame will you base from?
Where will you operate? (Systems wise)
Just some questions.
Honestly, if you flesh it out and do it well, in line with current lore, it could be good.

So, you've said that you are working for the Chancellor, a research branch of the Rheinland Military, but the rather strange thing that mined your idea is the supposed neutrality between your faction, in this case the RSA, with the Nomads and the Wilde.
As you may know, the Wilde are a loose organization of infected Rheinland Military personnel, the major part of the Wilde are comprised by the Rheinland Military pilots from the Great War, also known as the Nomad War (800 A.S).
They are hostile with the Rheinland Government. So this neutrality between you and them can be thrown in the garbage.
Next, there are several flaws in your idea, what ships would you like to do? What RP do you have in mind?
There are a lot of questions if you want some adeguate feedback to this faction.
