Thrudgelmir Long Range Bomber - Othman - 06-23-2008 I don't concur with granting a bomber the ability of firing 2 SNs instantly. That will make a bomber quite uber, leaving the others obsolete, no matter what you try to do for balancing it. Kudos to that Xing , I realy see it fit Rhainland like e glove , BUT there is one thing that I don't realy undertand. Why does Rhainland get to have that ship ? I mean , all the ships in there ship line are very veryyyy good , they don't need aditional aid from ships like that. And the twin SP nova idea is not bad , ONLY if RM deny the access to that ship to any non RM players. Thrudgelmir Long Range Bomber - skoko - 06-23-2008 Ship looks nice, fins are a bit corsairish but hull is clearly Rheinland so fins can merge in RH style... now I would agree to this ship ONLY if each house gets one of this 2x SN firing beasts.. and of course civilian one too... Because imagine what 1 of these can do to a GB and it has thruster to thrust away while shield regenerates back... Way to powerfull.... Thrudgelmir Long Range Bomber - Jinx - 06-23-2008 allmost - 2 SNs are - i believe around 120.000 damage to the shield ( out of the 140.000 it can take ) anyway - trust igiss in knowing about the overpoweredness of a twin SN. besides - having 4 tubes and a normal ( large ) powerplant is good enough. makes a very flexible bomber indeed. - with 1 SN, 2 nova and 1 train CD, its the dream of all pilots. you can point damage ( SN ) any capital ship, you can strip them of their equipment ( twin nova ) and CD them. - a bomberpilot would give his both legs for such flexibility and power. - twin SNs is not everything. and 4 tubes with a normal powerplant are great as they are... and wouldn t unbalance everything.
