Alright. The SRS will be the main host for any large scale racing events. The race challenges between 2 people has nothing to do with us. But, from time to time, the SRS will hold tournaments, or events, and give out prizes.

Yus, Zapp can join. But, thing is, the SRS will be something like the hosters for the events. Though, we do have some racers, we will also sponsor many events for other racers, in other teams, like [EVO].
We will have a race team of our own of course.

Cryer Racing Team. Only supposed to go for the official SRS race events but Mr. Churchyard will be up for any racing whenever he's on. I'll be using a Cryer ID and tag. Should be fun getting those...

i love this idea. maybe a few more race options
drag race: you challenge an oponent, some guy takes agreed amount of money. Start line is exactly 2k from tradelane. That same guy shouts go, they enter the lane, first one to come out the other end wins. no fighting or dirty tactics aloud.
Relay race: you actually pass on a certain contraband commodity through New York for example from team mate to team mate with race hosters at certain check points in the race. first one to pass the finish line with that comodity wins
Obstacle: teams again, Light fighter goes through trade lanes to a check point, his/her team mate in a freighter/transport then needs to fly through an asteroid field to the finish line.

just a question or two, those groups your setting up are race hosters? or actual racers?
and can you enter a race without being registered providing you say you want to race or pay up before it starts?
would it be feasable for two pirates in transports to sponsor a light fighter in a race?
