I soloed a M-26 on my Rogue Gunboat. ripped it to shreds. yYes, I had to commit suicide after wards because of massive damage. but i still won.

In a straight dumb fight renown for pilots who don't know how to fly cruisers win with ease, but if a gunboat pilot knows what he's doing he wins... and in my case rather easily, even against a cruiser captain that knows what he is doing.
There is one void to this rule... Ku desie is almost imposible to kill by a gunboat...
Also for the record as 4.85 will have this balance sorted... No longer will one gunboat come to a Cruiser and kill it with ease. Perhaps against an inferior pilot it might be doable... but most likeley, rather impossible... so this unbalance was noted and there is no need to report it untill 4.85 public beta comes online... and you spot new imbalances in this bit...

ordinary turrets and 1 missile, then for the tactics, i make sure they don't hit me... and then i fire back as long as it takes....

I saw a mudcrab the other day, but that doesn't mean i'll see it the next day again.
The gunships are being fixed cause a good pilot can take down a bad dessie pilot, yet the dessie which acts like a gunboat, looks like a gunboat, but certianly isn't a gunboat isn't getting fixed cause one individual can take it down, whilst an ordinary pilot cannot?
Hmm... I thought that the purpose of balancing was to make sure that ordinary pilots would stand a chance against good pilots flying smaller ships, to make them equals? Maybe i was wrong, oh well.
