I would also like to add that previous attempts in making Kusari events failed, that is why I would like the [KNF] leadership to contact either Friday or myself in hopes that we can make a weekly event between Kusari lawfuls and unlawfuls.

That as well will result in increased activity.

Konnichiwa!

Well the Mimoto family is glad to inform you that new commissioned battleship class Geji is ready to serve the Emperor!
After a long consideration about the naming the new ship name will be Yamato.Mimoto. The ship will be registered in the Emperor fleet when all secondary tests on the live support systems and weapon systems are done.

Welcome to all the new KNF members. Let me know if you need any help with anything in game.

' Wrote:The Emperor orders the Imperial Guard to formally be taken over by the KNF. All IG ships will change their ID's to [KNF-IG] and will remain a cohesive wing. The KNF IG wing will be put under the command of Kusari Naval Forces Daisa Hajime "Yureigoroshi" Kitao. Daisa Kitao will report to KNF Command, as well as directly to the Emperor, and will serve as liaison between the Emperor and the KNF Command under Shogun Sulu.

A good start - perhaps some of the IKN ships can also be resumed by the KNF?

I highly recommend that a tutorial be written about how to successfully roleplay in Kusari, briefly highlighting the historical conflicts of the factions, as well as explaining critical aspects of the culture and language. Kusari is easily the most foreign to most of us in a real world sense, and such a tutorial will greatly decrease the cultural intimidation factor that many people likely feel when considering Kusari as a playground. Then link it to various signatures and KNF official documents.

Actually, such a thing should really exist for each House and be pinned in the RP subforum, but Kusari needs one the most.

I started one a while back, maybe it's time to pull it out and dust it off and finish it off.

Yeah man, do that. This is a good idea.

One aspect that tutorial ought to touch on is the use of idioms. Every language and culture has unique ways of expressing common thoughts. Japanese idioms (and I mean translated into English) are likely to be the least accessible to the typical person, due to the very large cultural divide between western societies and oriental societies. I think most westerners can fairly easily pick up on German, British, or American idioms, but Japanese culture has entirely different historical roots. This would apply to simple things like the manner in which you greet or take your leave of someone, as well as more complex ideas about fulfilling duties and responding to authority. In other words, the tutorial ought to provide a foundation for understanding the way that a Kusari citizen relates to other citizens specifically, as well as the general society around him.
