Faction right to lie on Wiki - Zeltak - 05-11-2010 ' Wrote:Fine. So is it fine if I make an article on you, and edit it to make you out to be a Rastafarian Neo-Nazi Eskimo from Mars with a severe case of fecal incontinence? You are over-exaggerating one little piece of information that's practically harmless. What are you bored or something? I bet you will take this argument about the location/slight change of ownership or whatever to twenty-pages if you have to. It's hilarious, truly is. How anyone can find the time for this sort of stuff. For the record, arguments such as: "It's meant to be kept a secret." "It's just a frickin' station." "What absolute huge difference does it makes if it belongs to the Lane Hackers or the Hellfire Legion?" Don't seem to sink into your principle-mind that everything must be fair and exact in this precious world of ours. You are making a slippery slope argument, meaning you assume this will cause a bunch of falsification chain-reactions that will in the end turn everything into a second 1984 world-order. How you come to these conclusions, I have no seriously no clue. And congratulations, you managed to get yourself trolled by Igiss. Must be telling you something, yeah? Faction right to lie on Wiki - EisenSeele - 05-11-2010 Yes, I'm very bored. It's what us teens do right? Blame things, set cats on fire, find things we find that are wrong and nit pick. "it's meant to be kept a secret" is an RP thing. It's just odd that a wiki needs to be censored to preserve something that's supposed to end where the game does. "it's just a frickin' station." If that's all it is, then let it go. It's not really walking the talk when you're clearly giving more than a crap about it :/ "What absolute huge difference does it makes if it belongs to the Lane Hackers or the Hellfire Legion?" - It shouldn't. Facts are facts regardless of who's who. It matters now because the Hellfire Legion gets a say in what facts get censored on what's supposed to be an impartial guide. "Don't seem to sink into your principle-mind that everything must be fair and exact in this precious world of ours. It seems that you yourself aren't immune to the hyperbole that you're rather penchant on accusing me of. I'm not quite seeing what your 'slippery slope' quip was about. "And congratulations, you managed to get yourself trolled by Igiss. Must be telling you something, yeah?" - Everyone's entitled to an opinion. I've got my views on what a wiki should be, and it appears that he does too. If he meant what he said as a troll, then it seems we've got a disagreement and I say more power to him. "I bet you will take this argument about the location/slight change of ownership or whatever to twenty-pages if you have to." - I'm not going to be the first to back down, if that's what you're asking. I've got thirty or so more way points to go on my trade run, and I've always been rather stubborn. Bottom line. I see something that I find is wrong, and I don't like it. I'm doing something about it - and you're doing the same. Nothing more, nothing less. Find it. Discover it. Remember it and Live it. Faction right to lie on Wiki - dodike - 05-11-2010 I've read the whole thread. Haven't slept all night though, so I'm bit slower. So is the reason that the base is hidden inRP or the one about people fearing lolwuts trying to get Spyglass? Faction right to lie on Wiki - gafwmn - 05-11-2010 Alright then,so now we can finally get alaska back to its secret standing, and it will keep all the lolwuts out....sweet. That was sarcasm.....or was it? Faction right to lie on Wiki - chovynz - 05-11-2010 ' Wrote:I've read the whole thread. Haven't slept all night though, so I'm bit slower. Nizer.
