Cruisers are expensive.
Powerful too.
Very useful for y'know, fighting.
Rheinland is at war.
Rheinland is in danger of losing that war.
Why would a valuable, powerful capital ship go wandering around the Omicrons when an Armoured Transport would work just as well?
Or even a 5k transport?
