you may of encountered us before we went through a change in our RP now we tend to stay out of things and off to the sides more

I see..

You find this all really amusing, don't you.

Free publicity of a sort.

Come attack a few Zoners, sweetcakes.. we'll even hold still for ya.

Then we'll see if you "care" or not, you arrogant putz.

Cheers

Then again, LR- do not tax Junkers and Zoners who rp back to them.

Thus the difference between role play and rule play. Rules say pirates can pirate Zoners and Junkers ... but why would you reduce the number of docking ports you can use?

So it's required to use missileboats against Liberators? Because I have had that happen at least twice. One of those times I was chased all the way to MH while they were spouting "DIE LIBBY" over system comms. I think the [Cartel] needs to examine what is "required".

Ok, enough off topic talk ok. Let's stick to the real subject of pirates in penn here. The subject as I believe doesn't contain either zoners or junkers ok.

What bugs me are these pirates who pirate Zoners and still feel entitled to use Freeports. They know who they are! Far as I know, Rogues are the only Liberty faction who does not land on them so I'll leave them alone. Hackers, Outcasts, Corsairs, Hessians and indie pirate tags are some who do use them. If you're going to pirate Zoners then do as the Buccaneers in Bretonia do and do NOT use Freeports. I have a long list of those who shouldn't be........and you know who you are.

I dunno, there are a lot of pirating groups that give Zoners slack despite having no real reason to. Only the Xenos and Unioners are really connected to them. Vanilla rumors from the Corsairs say they'll shoot Zoners if no one is looking, but with the lack of death and such, that's not something possible.

Pirates in penn - Malaclypse 666 - 07-06-2009

I don't deny for a second that Zoners can and will be pirated. I gave two million to some polite young Buccaneers myself today.

And i will be receptive to ideas and opinions, provided the "giver" also seems recepttive to the opinions of others.

At least one Cartel member has demonstrated that he is not willing to be receptive at all. Therefore, I feel I should return the favor in some way or another.

Something called a "rubber rose" comes to mind..

That said, there will be Zoner vessels stationed at Bethlehem in future. Our Charter only allows the escort and protection of other Zoner vessels, or the right to defend our "NFZ" around Bethlehem.

Either or both of those limitations should still give the "Cartel" a chance to make its intentions known vis a vis Zoners.

I can't wait.

from my point of veiw, dont pirate any new players for more then a token amount, dont spam gunboats near the new players, and dont be stupid.

that should be enough to keep everyone happy.

I'm inclined to agree. One time right after I made a new character, all in a Starflea with no money (I was going to get that later, you see), I got pirated a lane away from Manhattan (where you started at the time). The pirate was apparently hoping for someone with a bit more money, but still RPed it out. He pirated me for 20 credits so he could get a drink on Buffalo. That's the sort of thing to do. :D
