Religion in Discovery - Corleonesgwg - 11-10-2008 There is whole new RP way in ingame religion which is almost absolutly empty. I have small idea but It need time to think about all details. Religion in Discovery - Camtheman Of Freelancer4Ever - 11-10-2008 Im just glad my Cyborg Character is an Atheist... They say religion brings hope, But it only brings war. Religion in Discovery - Heartless - 11-10-2008 I thought about this and the Order, and I think that no one in the Order would be religious. If you compare Sirius with our earth, take for example liberty and the USA. Navy's, government, and people. Some people might be religious, some not, whatever. Now if some alien species would come, religious people might turn to god or whatever to help them. (Nomads as the aliens in Sirius). But In Sirius, there's the Order, those who fight the aliens. In modern times, that's like scientists of some sort. They believe in Science, not religion. And those who do something about the invaders, fight back, probably don't believe in religion as the religious people would just pray until something happened. Anyways, I don't know if that makes sence, but that's somewhat my reasoning for Religion in Disco (in my case, the Order). Religion in Discovery - Turkish - 11-11-2008 It makes sense, but its too extreme. You're accounting for a large portion of people, its foolish to simply assume that none of them would carry religious beliefs. What if they should believe that science is the tool of God? There are far too many facets of humanity and religion combined to make such an assertion. Religion in Discovery - Heartless - 11-11-2008 And I'm not religious either so that's probably another reason I said no lol. But I guess it depends on your environment. Take Latin America for example, they have the largest concentration of Christianity in the world, however in Canada that would mean very little. |
