so if a side brings a repair ships which has 2000/2000 bots/bats then it is considered OORP?
Since you need the open the trade menu or drop them. And you said thats OORP to do in your view in fights so RPing a repair ship is bad?
Its the exact same thing as when a fighter drops them for his teammate. Thats why you have Teammates. To help each other out.

This thread reminds me of one last year where I constantly rebutted people because in my noob logic & infinite wisdom, thought everyone was out of their minds on the topic.
no matter how many times people proved me wrong, I remained stubborn & opinionated until an admin swooped in to essentually tell me to shut up & drop the matter.

my ego kicked his ego in the ballz.
I despise shield running more than bot trade for example, but its a valid tactic to go on evasive more until your shields are full and it will never be sanctioned as one.
I certainly don't bring it to forums if i have a grudge against someone who blew me up.

I already said that a repair ship is different. It's a repair ship. Get it? It makes repairs on ships.
A fighter is not a repair ship, right?

And that's a good example. Shield running isn't oorp, it's a tactic that actually makes sense in combat, but it's also a bit of a sleazy one. Bat and bot trading is not really much different. Some people don't see anything wrong with shield running either.

Repair ships have three guns. They aren't terribly good at fighting. They still can, should they want to.
Bombers have 100 regens. They aren't as good at a repair ship at repairing. They still can.

beyond basic rules that keep the server fair, fun, and clean, rules shouldn't be created over something which is arguably RP.
