Vehicle Combat - Altejago - 11-27-2013 So..... There's this Kiwi guy, right? And he's developed this. For all those into building cars that blow the bejebus out of your mates cars (or arch nemesis!), come along and support this bloke to continue developing this game! RE: Vehicle Combat - Omi - 11-27-2013 Why should I back this over Garry's Mod, which already exists and (by the looks of it) offers this functionality and more besides? RE: Vehicle Combat - Altejago - 11-27-2013 Because it's not a corporation, but some guy in his bedroom with a dream. Just like you. RE: Vehicle Combat - oZoneRanger - 11-27-2013 Ya know...Scraps looks interesting...and now that you said its one dude in his bedroom with a dream, I can relate to that. I will be DLing the builder demo and give it a try, will post once I have given it a spin. Good joke. Did you even look at the page? RE: Vehicle Combat - sindroms - 11-28-2013 Tbh, I have had a very bad experience with such titles so far. First one was a game called Drifter, which cost 15eur at the time to get alpha access. Needless to say, it wasn't updated ever since. Then there was Starsector. Same thing. Prison Manager, which was a greenlit game on Steam. Pretty basic, but it was fun enough. Sadly they never got any updates out for it ever since the initial reliese. Then there's Rimworld. Same story. Why should I invest in this? All I saw was another kickstarter scam. Rather not a scam, but a project doomed to fail. RE: Vehicle Combat - sindroms - 11-28-2013 Yeah, that was the one I was referring to. They updated it once. Like. Once. |
