No objects are selectable without using map - Apocalypse2001 - 08-18-2014
Since the Omicroners left Sirius several years ago (mainly related to the recent dev post about people ruining others experience, which is too little too late - but i digress), I haven't been online much.
I did install the last update. But after that, when i started playing, i couldn't select any objects in space, but somehow after a few minutes i WAS able to select them.
Today during the time of this post, I am logged in. I can't select ANY major object. Not planets, not stations, not stars... I am only able to select the major objects from the MAP.
i asked another long time player about this and he had no idea. He suggested the last installation of the last update may have corrupted something. Maybe i'm missing something since i haven't looked at the forums for a very long time.
Has anybody else had this issue? if so, how do i fix? (other than uninstalling and reinstalling of course, which would be a last resort.

Are you using any custom texture packs or outside mods?

no nothing like that. It was a clean installation.

The Discovery Scanner doesn't function any more. Don't use it - sell it and buy another. /thread.
