could we possibly have the Bretonian Bomber thinend out a bit? or remodeled too make it thinner, its not nearly half as good as any other bomber, and since ive been using it ive found out why its so much harder too fly than the praetorian, at the moment, its like flying a brick...

Challenger isn't a terrible bomber, unless you're meeting up with Catamarans which everyone admits are bloody unfair.

its meant to be like that. it looks good, too. - its not a catamaran of course. - but that shouldn t be of any concern there.
but anyway - there are no plans to modify it.

What are you saying ? I've survived gunboat+cruiser+dozenpretorians attacks at the same time, in my challenger, it's a damn good ship. Best looking bomber out there.

it might look good, but its slower at turning, and when anything hits it, even NPC MINES, the CM dropps off it like a twiglet andf so do other peices of equipment, any fix for that?

well ... hm, no fix planned, i think. - the ship might be rebalaned in 4.85 - as many ships are. - but it won t get a new shape or very new characteristics.
mostly due to the fact that - i think you re hte first that slightly complained about it. - most players know that its a tank and no match for a catamaran ( which gets nerft of course ) - but i have only heard positive about the challenger.
components get a bit more hitpoints in 4.85 anyway ... but other than that, i cannot say much about it... i never used it , got no char that can fly it.
maybe some other ppl that actually used it in combat can say something about it, too.

Well, It is slower than Catamaran, but a lot faster than some others. Try Civilian bomber or Waran, and they try to say again that Challanger is slow.

It's actually one of my favorite bombers, but I specialize in big slow ships with massive plants.
Collectors, Titans, the Waran, the Somtaaw SHF... the only thing I'm not a killing machine with is the Spatial which is ridiculous to try and fight fighters with. Still an awesome ship though, just needs to spent a bit more time at the drawing board.
The Spatial is without a doubt my favorite model in the game, though. I wish it were a Junker ship.
Anyways, back on topic: Jinx, you once said that you liked the BH Bomber best of all the Discovery ships, and that it best represented the continuation of a vanilla series of ships. I present the Challenger as a counterpoint to that argument.

Challenger is a beautiful bomber. Well, my first comment, when I saw it as a BAF recruit, was it is ugly. But I know better today.
Problem is I don't fly other bombers on the RP server. The CM on Challenger drops off very soon, but is it sooner than on other bombers? I didn't help much, did I ?

Not really. I fly a Taiidan, and the CM drops off of that if you fart in the wrong direction. it's paper-thin on that thing.
Challenger's good, if you like flying a tank. it's tough, but with a small lack of agility to compensate.
