Guten abend.

The legality of our convoy came into question, while moving just barely into Kusari space by a Hogosha vessel who did not have the ability to "Fine" us in the name of the "Law", I have found a need to deposit both a brief overview of our departure from Rheinland, into Kusari then down to Rheinland space again. As it is of potential legal value to a possible upcoming legal battle with the Hogosha pilot in question, there is nothing omitted for transparency's sake. A detailing of the events shall be below:

As per our assignment, a detachment of Weiss vessels was sent off to escort the frigate "Halle", for a simple run to pick up a shipment of Deuterium from Pennsylvania, courtesy of Bristol. This planned route did not go without hiccups, and was very early on met with a transporter captain of a Bulwark-class vessel, almost deafening the entire convoy with his enhanced comms broadcast coupled with his own shouting. As per instruction, the convoy proceeded anyway despite the set-back, upon which they reported success in the pick-up of Deuterium. The convoy was to drop off in Shikoku for a small profit, to then acquire a shipment of Platinum for the return trip to Alster Shipyard. Within New York, along the route to the short stop-off in Shikoku, several Liberty Lawful assets greeted the convoy, claiming that there was no longer any trouble ahead and that they had cleaned up an unlawful presence in the Colorado and Galileo systems. This brought welcome news to the convoy, and they proceeded with due haste to utilise the opening to its fullest. A Corse vessel passed them by in Colorado, just beside Denver, but there was not as much time for discourse. Another detachment of Liberty Lawful assets was encountered, including a prototype hybrid Battlecruiser, of which the convoy reported "had not seen anything like before". Said Liberty Navy ships proclaimed the same as the previous ones, stating there was no more problems out in Galileo following their decommissioning of all hostile forces. They proceeded, pleased by the information.

Upon entering Galileo and reaching the first junction, asset "Halle" struck up conversation with a Lane Hacker piloting a Kamome, of which a cordial discussion ensued about the region. During this discussion, a Hogosha vessel arrived to the scene, seemingly also of cordial nature. At this point, it was likely attributed to the convoy's size and weight class, although later proved to not be the case upon the very next junction towards Shikoku, the destination. Myself and Gripir had the lane cut on our attempted pass-by to remain in escort with the frigate and bomber that had proceeded down to the gate, of which the Hogosha claimed that they were not finished with the two. The unorthodox interdiction ended up bringing both the Halle and Grief-03 back to the junction, after which the Gunboat captain chose to take issue at the welded on engine of the Fernyiges, due to it's GMG origins. Upon explanation, the Hogosha decided to take further issue with them, insisting that they had the power to threaten a violation of verbal abuse, despite one of the pilots not even speaking up at them aside from an "Oh?" during the initial interdiction. The convoy denied the accusation, instead insisting that the Hogosha captain either left them alone or found there to be an impending legal case to fight. Eventually, the convoy was waved on through, in a bid to try and wave away the impending legal case. That, of course, is down to the legal team of Weiss to decide.

After narrowly avoiding conflict with the Hogosha, we proceeded into Shikoku to complete the delivery of Deuterium, despite the heavy delays. Platinum was quickly loaded at one of the Kusari Keiretsu affiliated installations near the lane stretch between the Liner Yards and the Jump Gate. The Hogosha vessel was apparently still loitering, but waved us by angrily as we left for Liberty space. The light convoy proceeded into Magellan, to merge with our colleagues en route back to Rheinland, including our own Transport Barge Weiss]ISS-Megakatze, which was rescued by navy assets a day prior. After the successful escort, their final destination for the cargo was to be directed towards Hamburg, of which Alster station received a fresh run of the Platinum sourced from Kusari.

Our convoy docked for a short rest stop at Essen, as per the standard shipping procedure of rest and respite during extended runs. Spared further idleness, our convoy group was redirected into Omega space, to perform training exercises in the field far from home. We took a regular Gefahrgut route as an exercise into deeper Omegas close to Omicron Theta borders, wherein we met and disabled two corsair transports before boarding. The ships were surprisingly lightly defended for the disputed Omicron Theta. Our security detail confiscated their cargo, consisting of nearly three thousand units of Rum. As far as the Corsairs know, the transports did not survive, and while using weaponry of civilian in nature, they more closely matched the generic armaments available to the greater Sirian market, reducing the likelihood of traceback to the Weiss corporate as responsible for the attack.

We consider all operations a resounding success, even if the training in the Omegas led to the liberation of large quantities of Cretan alcohol.
