Looking for a IRP smuggler transport - skaterpro0 - 05-30-2009 Ok, I am currently looking for a transport that respect these three factors. 1. InRP for a freelancer Ided smuggler in liberty 2. Have at least 2500 cargo 3. Has cheap as possible while respecting criteras 1 and 2 I would have used the Wiki but it doesnt have all the ships. Also, does the train respect critera one? If yes, its what I am buying. Looking for a IRP smuggler transport - VincentFerrex - 05-30-2009 Pirate Train if you want a large cargo bay and decent weapons. Pirate Transport if you want a TCD mounted for pirating other traders. Looking for a IRP smuggler transport - Quorg - 05-30-2009 I don't know how much the Border Worlds Transport costs these days, but it's always served me well; it's been a long, long time since anyone's successfully intercepted me while piloting it. The train is certainly an interesting choice; go for it if you want to give yourself a challenge. My slaver currently uses an Advanced Train, which isn't the most popular choice but has definitely made for some interesting scenarios and keeps me on my toes. Looking for a IRP smuggler transport - 11of10 - 05-30-2009 Only ships that come to my mind regarding smugglers are Dromedary, Firefly and Borderworlds Transport. The train just has this Corporate look around itself, for me at least. Those seem unaligned at least. Edit: BWT costs 42M Looking for a IRP smuggler transport - Robert.Fitzgerald - 05-30-2009 Firefly costs around a similar amount, and there are "secret compartments used for smuggling contraband" on the ship. It's a good (RP and gameplay) choice for a smuggler. Borderworld transport is similar - it's a "grey" ship, both lawfuls and unlawfuls use it. I see smuggler Border Worlds Transports, no one questions the ship unless it's carrying illegal goods. It's perfect for a smuggler who also transports lawful goods and wants to be welcome in any space. And if you've made yourself unwelcome, it's a very good ship for slipping between asteroids and through debris fields, as many an irritated pirate has learned. I recommend it to any independent transport captain. Looking for a IRP smuggler transport - Benjamin - 05-30-2009 If you want to do 'easy' smuggling, take a BWtrans or firefly. A pirate transport is a more dedicated choice; it shows what side you're batting for pretty clearly, but on the plus side you are better equipped to handle the fights you are more likely to get in to. Dromedary and Mule if you're hardcore and want to fly a freighter. The Mule is the Rhino of unlawful freighters, the Bactrian's just a Mule Mk2. |
