Computer Crashes. - Death.RunningVerminator - 10-10-2009 Ya, it finally clicked lol. I got XP. hehe (the thing that says windows XP was no help at all):P But uh... is there any way to not have my computer crashed all the time? Computer Crashes. - Cannon - 10-10-2009 It's relatively unusual for a computer to crash all of the time but here are some of the common reasons why it does: 1. Dust in various heatsinks causing CPU or graphicas card to overheat - or possibly a failed fan. 2. Faulty memory. 3. Viruses and buggy software although from your description I don't think it is this. 4. Faulty motherboard, graphics card or power supply. Cleaning your heatsinks is easy to do. Blow air into them until they are clean - generally best to do this outside. Check that the fans are spinning when the computer is powered on. |
