Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom - Primitive - 02-09-2011 Since Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion has some problems with multiplayer, mainly sync problems which practically makes it unplayable in MP we're going to test out The Shattered Kingdom which should work properly. There are 5 of us currently on Hamachi network playing last couple of days..or trying to. Feel free to join. Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom - hribek - 02-10-2011 The test was a success. Primitive lost a scout to one of my scout trios as we were exploring the map with starter troops. Then I got distracted by construction and he managed to ambush those three scouts as well as my lance carrier group. So yeah, nice revenge. I was left with half a dozen bowmen and three scouts. Fortunately I managed to build a tower before Paco's troops found my village, and the noob recruit at its top scored some headshots with stones thrown at the pikemen, my bowmen between rocks and the village finished the rest. Phew. His remaining scouts tried to get to the bowmen from the other side where a tower was still under construction, but they tripped over a dead serf. By that time they had a cloud of arrows raining down on them and 3 scouts hitting them from the side. As I was exploring the rest of the map and preparing to enter the area where the enemy encampment had to be (because my scouts have been everywhere else), we have learned that sending bowmen without support against cavalry is not a very good idea. All got slaughtered. Since archers have longer range than rocks thrown from towers, Primitive's subjects were almost at my mercy... If only my troops didn't get so damn hungry. To be continued...
