Well, not sure if such question was ever asked, but I think it would be interesting to hear people's opinions.

I chose community.
Without it Disco would be a empty shell of boredom.

Community.

Not only on the forums, but also because you get a great time on, for example, skype, if you want to.

LOL... Community.

Rofl. Joke.

LOL... Storyline...

Again, rofl, Joke.
A huge house nearly 2x the size of any others going undiscovered for hundreds and hundreds of years?

Please. Do better.

Gameplay? Getting better, my 2nd choice.
It gets slightly better with every update but in some other area it gets worse. So its about even every update...

Graphics/Design? Again, a lot of the system links don't make sense, for example 2 entries into Gallia? Neither of which are Jumpgates? Please. That's unrealistic to freelancer lore that there are only 2 entrances to a whole house. How many entrances are there to Kusari to systems it doesn't control?

Lets see... Tau 23, Tau 29, Kepler, Galileo, Oita, Sigma 13, Sigma 19, Okinawa, Tau 42, Tottori, Omicron-92.

That's 11 different entrances to Kusari.

Little ridiculous.

On the other hand, the graphic additions are very nice... Like the Background in Omicron Delta, the backgrounds in various Gallic systems... etc.

So thar.

So Cam, what DO you like?

Graphics, Music is pretty nice...

The ships.

That part of the design I appreciate.

The ships are impeccable.

Except for the texturing job on the Liberty Carrier.

That's why I picked the design one.

Even if, again, the system links are stupid.

Humboldt - Omega-7 JH ftw.

There needs to be more links around.

It's a great way to create system activity as well.

Actually, all of these four options are around the level of awesome in disco. However I believe that it is the community which makes it all stick together, and what I like most.

Community. This is a mod, without people wishing to make it different and have fun Disco wouldn't exist on the first place.

There will always be some rotten apples in the basket, but they'll only remind us how tasty the good ones are.

I logon for the gameplay. Commerce, mining, piracy, fleet combat, there is a lot of variety in the overall encounters. The combat system is pretty rich too. There are ships of all kinds, some big and slow, some fast and nimble, firing pattern variety, etc. There are lots of little things to mess with like EK and turret steering and mines and CDs. It's not as broad as other games but its intricate enought that two ships in the same class can be completely different.

Role-play keeps the environment going, so community is very important. After you've shot everybody and done every trade route, RP is all you have left. I'm not a big RP'er by any means either.

That.

The sheer variety of combat encounters...

A lot like Battlefield 2, actually.

When you meet a player...

They could either be on foot...

In a heavy, slow tank.

in a nimble humvee...

You know.
