Unlawful in Liberty - NonSequitor - 02-03-2013

I'd like to set up an unlawful character in Liberty. And I'd like some input about the character's faction and ship.

I'm no PvP ace, but it would be fun to ocassionally pew-pew and act all piratey for the sake of variety.

Option 1: Going (Liberty) Rogue: What's the best all-around ship, the Werewolf or the Blaaarghest?

Option 2: Going redne - er..., I mean Xeno: What's the best all-around ship for a psychotic xenophobe?

Keep the input classy, folks.

Id say werewolf is a better all round ship than barghy, you really only wanna be shootin trans/caps in a bargy.

Xenos, Im not so familliar with. Eagle is the classic, but you could try the Arrastra, SHFs often make good all round ships.

Dont forget lane hackers are lib unlawfuls too.

Good point - forgot about those gentlemen.

I would say you get more love with your rogue...

But xenos are also having their magic, its just that nobody likes them Q.Q

In the end its still your decision based on your taste

Hmmm, Rogues get their PVP fun mainly from wrecking and being wrecked by the liberty military forces.
The Xenos, on the other hand, menace the traders, since they can treat any non liberty trader ID as a combat target, killing them without having to issue cargo demands.

*Cough* Torpedoes *cough*

I may just go Xeno, since the Rogues seem to be sufficiently represented. Won't be going with the boring Eagle though - an SHF might be the ticket. I wish the SHF's weren't so assymetric, but you can't have everything.

Okay, just to clarify some things...

1.) Is Xeno piracy the same as typical pirate piracy, i.e. credits and material? I seem to recall that they weren't allowed to pirate for credits at some point.

2.) Apparently the capital ship entries in the Xeno shipline may be take with a shovel full of salt.

***

Pilot carrying this ID is a member of the Xenos who:
May treat non Libertonian trade vessels as combat targets. Give them hell, a taste of hell before you send them there.
May engage in piracy.
Can engage pirates, terrorists and lawfuls within Liberty and the Independent Systems bordering Liberty
Cannot ally with any military, police, or corporate players.
Cannot use any transport with more than 4,300 cargo.

Allowed ships: Fighters, Bombers, Freighters, Transports, Venator, Lost Battlestar.

Greetings.

A Xeno combat freighter or pelican can be fun too.

Regards,
Talesin

As you can see, xenos MAY pirate normally, or MAY just treat non-lib trade vessels as combat targets, - Kill without a demand. Its up to you, but if you know Xeno Backstory, you know they are more into Eliminating foreign trade, than letting it live.
