Agreed, a certain 101st ship is also a bit of an eyesore especially in a dark system when I have my bloom off and it's still prominent as hell. It doesn't look nice at all.

There's personal opinions and preferences and then there's just ridiculous. Restrictions on size depending on your ship would be good.

Reviving thread, they simply make the ship impossible to aim at if the lights are too potent. The reticule might be there but apparently the logic "you can't shoot what you can't see" applies.
