Ok--covering as much as I can (late here--sleepy)...

At this point we are building.

If a person with a REAL Junker character who actually wants to RP it wants to come in--you are welcome. If we have problems we'll get pickier later.

So feel free to "join" just make sure you let me know so I can keep everyone updated and on the same page.

I am very excited about the bomber--it solves a lot of problems for us. Even the proposed transport with three gunboat turrets could be extremely helpful--if it gets in. Jinx made two great models there.

There will be a "official cruiser" (Pirate Hessian) at Puerto Rico to purchase weps for sale to other factions. Same with a gunboat. So if someone says, can you buy me a cruiser or gunboat turret, we can say sure and make a little profit. PR is well stocked. They also could defend PR if attacked or violated. It is a Junker military system after all.

I (myself) do not have a Junker gunboat or cruiser. I fly curretnly a Pirate Train and Armored transport--and have for some time.

We have two special role play ships I won't discuss that are very RP. You won't see them in public systems at any time unless they have to transit--and we are very good at avoiding people.

So there is no "secret fleet" of dozens of Junker cap ships waiting to sweep Sirius.

For those players with gunboats, I'm not disallowing them. That's an rp decision.

Members can be (and it is assumed in Rp that they are actually Junkers by birth/relation):

Junker Guards (leadership positions, stricter rules, faction RP ship pilots)
Junkers
Smugglers (Smuggler ID with Junker Rep)
Mercenaries (Mercenary ID with Junker Rep)
Pirates (Pirate ID with Junker Rep)

Mercenaries would act as base guards and enforcer/bounty hunters. They will have the restrictions of mercs and freedoms but will be repped as Junkers.

Smugglers will be Junkers who simply traffic in illegal goods as the prefer--some may be Corsair oriented others outcast for example--and will follow the smuggler ID but have Junker reputations.

Pirates--just like the Pirate ID--but with Junker reps. They might also serve as privateers in Kusari against the Hogosha.

This is all to simulate the diversity of Junkers--that some are rank and file, others individualists and still others idealists.

The primary function in these roles is to provide role play room for individuals. The Junker Congress can be a role play network amongst Junkers. You might need a team for your rp or some help. We can all provide some of that.

I am hoping members will carve ot their own rp niche as Junkers. Servus Lictor plays a slaver with a speciality. We have a player who is a Doctor who heads a research division. My character is a diplomat/politician/"national" idealist. These are the sort of things I love to see.

So just keep me in tune with what you are doing. I have the web template done, am working on content and the faction proposal (again) and we are good to go.

I do have three "hard" lines--don't join with a bad attitude to fulfill a vendetta against another player or group. Don't join if you think "RP is stupid" and just are bored and want company. Don't join if you argue publicly all the time with other players aka flame in game.

Those are my only real pet peeves, other than that, I'm very nice.

A quick update--I am finishing up the faction proposal for formal submission (thanks to some generous pledges we are juuust squeaking the application fee out) and it is a brain strain of work...

PLEASE--if you haven't sent me your forum name and indicated which .:j:. characters are associated with it, do so now so that I can add them to the roster.

It would be most helpful and there might be cardamine in it for you;)

I keep everything on one account, I've got enough accounts elsewhere that I don't want to have another half dozen here for all my different characters.:P
