My apologies if this is in the wrong place but I have query regarding PoBs.
Is there a command that would treat one or perhaps more than 1 player faction as hostile without treating all players as hostile and enter only friendly tags?
A busy server has many players in game and if you have 1 faction as an enemy to a PoB it would seem daft to treat all as unfriendly and then enter all good tags.
As Snak3 has already stated there is no 'Shoot on Sight' list. There are however three base states that you can pick from.
Quote:Set or display the defense mode of the base. There are three available modes you can set:
0: Neutral to non-allied ships, docking rights for allied ships only.
1: Hostile to non-allied ships, docking rights for allied ships only.
2: Neutral to non-allied ships, unrestricted docking rights.
You can do it in a different way, since anyone send bullets or projectiles toward your base will be automatically added as "Enemy" to the base but unfortunately you will not be able to see that list or edit it.
But you can set your base defense mode on "" Allow friendlies to dock & restrict non-added nicknames to dock & stay neutral to non-added nicknames"" - so anyone who will shoot at the base will be red to it by time and by that you achieve what you want.

Hi
Thanks for that. This I knew but hoped that a blacklist creation might be available which in my mind would be a neat advantage.

I have to agree that it would be a very neat advantage, something to the sorts of /base addbtag or so much like you use /base addtag for the whitelist. May have to look into that to see if it would be possible.

Those who shoot the base are indeed "added" to a virtual list of enemies, but that lasts only for 8 hours (or maybe tillserver restart, but not sure on that), so that is not a permanent solution.
Ponge is quite correct. The enemy list last for a limited time only and a more permanent blacklist is, in my view a must. Picture this scenerio. A BAF pilot rests in his base, a fleet of Mollies intent on killing BAF pilots mass outside the base. This base is BAF affiliated and so the Mollies are enemies of the BAF and the base but the base defence does nothing as the Mollies have not fired on the base but wait until the pilot undocks when he is met with a hail of fire after the undocking pause of course. The base could be set as hostile to all but this endangers the inocemt traveller.
This is entirely unrealistic as any military base would fire on an approaching enamy without hesitation.
