Most major hauliers stick their logo on their fleet, Fedex, UPS etc. big corporates without tags are probably the ooRP angle.

Similarily most police cars and warships I see are quite clearly marked for the outside world to see. If you want immersion breaking pop to New York for the number of Navy and Police ships without LN and LPI "painted" on their hulls.

Of course, but you still need eye-contact for this to see the logos..., which in my "opinion" is in Freelancer the IFF.

Tags are part of the callsign of a ship, and as long as admins dont state otherwise, they're part of the roleplay. A wilde that is tagged wilde IS roleplaying a wilde, not a lawful military. If they want to roleplay something else, they can get a freelancer ID, ship and guns and remove the tag, or as said above, have the IFF of those who they roleplay.
