Thanks for your suggestions, but the HAF is well aware that it needs and wants and this is perfectly compatible with the server and the current diplomatic situation. What I need is the HAF let us play as we judge others by the same criteria. Right now the HAF is in the Bastille on charges of attempting to invade the server, which I have already said a thousand times and it is absolutely false.

Finally, we will wait patiently for us out of this unjust prison and we will try to do what others are doing, following the rules and play to enjoy this great server. If you leave us to do, of course ...

Hey we can leave you too play as long as you guy dont annoy the council again:P. Just a though but why dont you base off Cadiz in Omega-5, becasue we really need to start getting those Hessians back, it would also mean you can pirate regually which would help fund your faction.

Well, for a time the Outcasts had four (SOB, BLS, 101st, RoS), and if I ever actually drag myself back here full-time we might end up at that number again.

Interesting thing about that is each of those factions has a very clearly definted role. Most of the Corsairs I see are just 'corsairs'. Piracy, artifact trade, the lot... They do it all. The OC factions seems to each be focussed on one area of outcast RP.

If the HAF can find a place in the corsairs and do something different and unique (yet in line with) within the corsairs, then I'd have no problem with the idea of another corsair faction. Their existance has to be justified.

I remember to recall that this is actually required for a faction to become official. If I remember correctly it was said by Xoria in one of those faction proposal threads. To actually add value to the server if there is already a faction in place.

OPG did just that. And I still remember the rocky start they had. They were and still are and should be based in Omegas using Cadiz as their launching point.

All the HAF really did wrong was trying to start too big from the get go. Like most of the imported clans. Very few have had a mindset of starting small and from there develop their own niche.

So HAF I think you can have a place here in the server, but please find your own niche. Not just general Corsairs. And definitely the Protectors of Crete will not do since that job is taken already by people who have been here longer.

Well, if you'd like to start anew, as your first post suggests, do just that. Quit bringing up this event to clear your name, just get on with playing and prove that the intentions that you supposedly had were not really your intentions. Think of it like writing a paper. I could say that Lake Superior is cold as many times as I want, but as true as it might be, I have to prove it to someone who doesn't live in Michigan that Lake Superior is cold. In this same way, you can't just say "We don't want to do these things!" , you have to prove it to us.

So, instead of repeating yourself, just prove that you understand the rules and you intend to make yourselves a good-willed faction or whatnot, and get on with it. You can talk all day, but, at the end of that day, the only thing that matters is whether or not you actually stand by what you've said.

EDIT: Erm, what exactly does that link prove? That we can't see the restricted forum? Well, that's the point of a restricted forum...

Sorry, but I believe in the presumption of innocence. So anyone can think what they want, but while I do nothing against the rules does not have anyone the right to plead guilty to something I have not done. Maybe your culture is different, so is mine.

The HAF prove every day their intentions in the game, judge of HAF therefore, not hearsay or past performances in other parts.
