STRANGE SITING AND INVESTIGATION (CONTINUED)......The Marauder finally leaves
IDENTIFICATION PROTOCOL : OFFICIAL LOG .....Commander Darius Marin.....
Darius stood at he entrance to the docking bay and stared at the Marauder after her refit was complete ......finally......
The crew were busy stocking up the ship and Darius had already briefly said good bye to Melissa who was busy with other visitors so could not be at the docking bay to make sure everything was ok .......so her second in command was busy overseeing everything.....
The Marauder was gleaming because aswell as a total refit inside she had been restored with a new colour too and for the first time she had her name smartly presented on both sides of the front of the ship...
Comms Chief : "darius everything is ready and we are ready to go ...sir....."
Darius boarded the marauder and sat in his chair...
Marin : " release clamping rods"
"aye aye sir"
Marin : " Chief please .....you take the controls and take the marauder out"
Comms Chief : " aye aye ...sir ...it be a pleasure"
The Marauder slipped the hydraulic clamps and smoothly made her way out of the docking area and Darius smiled ....
The ship was soon into cruise mode and everyhting seemed fine the ship was as good as new and much better with her new hull paint design....
So the long journey home begins and the crew are so glad they can relax now and look forward to new adventures and also going back to Corsica Outer Rim and making their new home more liveable.........
So ends the current chapter and im sure darius and the crew will have more tales to tell later ..........

IDENTIFICATION PROTOCOL : OFFICIAL LOG .....Commander Darius Marin.....
Darius stood and pondered as he said farewell to his beloved base that he had rebuilt and made his home for maybe just a brief time,but he was proud of his crew and all the work he had put into the base.
The Q-Ship Marauder was ready to depart and all the crew were aboard checking out the systems were working perfctly seeing as she had not flown for a few weeks and had been locked in the secure hangar for safe keeping.
Darius made sure all the base was secured on the way out ready for the new owner to take charge of it when he arrives,all transactions had been dealt with and all security logs wiped clean and admin passwords had been exchanged and finalised.
Darius boarded the Maurauder and took one final look at the base and shed a small tear as he said goodbye for the last time,the Marauder's bay doors closed and she slipped slowly from the moorings and the bay doors opened and she powered up ready to depart for the freeport just a short distance away,where Darius was arranging to celebrate with the crew a new chapter in their adventures and hopefully they will do some exploring and maybe find a new home.
Darius took his seat in the command chair and ordered the Marauder to depart for the freeport and as she slipped away from the docking bay the crew gave a loud cheer to celebrate being free again to traverse the systems of Sirius with their beloved commander.
Maybe even they will visit a few Zoner installations along their path and maybe find a new home,or just maybe they will never find a home and travel for the rest of their days making money and doing contract work for other organisations.
So the crew docked at the freeport and all disembarked and made there way to the bar/restaurant to celebrate ........
