Installed the new mod, always get this warning before the mod manager opens "There was a problem while inspecting one or more mods in the \mods folder, Please read the log for more information" I have looked all over and can't find the log!

Do you have any other mods other than the ones that came with the mod manager and Disco 4.852? If so, then other mods may be having some errors.
If not, then you more than likely have a corrupted download. Delete the file, and re-download is all I can suggest.

No, my Freelancer game directory is on my secondary hard drive, as long as the mod manager can find the directory, automatically or manually, you should be fine.
