Try checking the pinned topics on the Discovery Developers Forum. I believe that's where they have tutorials for that.

It's official, I have too few ships now...

What program is that you are using? Also what file types can you export to?

You will end up needing Milkshape 3D to import the model, then export it as a .cmp, afterwards, you will have to open it up in HardCMP and use that for your hardpoints(which you know). There are a few good tutorials around the site that shall help you. I will edit my post in a few minutes to point you in the right direction

Edit: saw the program you are using. I will update yet again with what file type to export to.

http://the-starport.net/index.php?option=c...6&Itemid=29 <--good tutorial in PDF format. Its not from here but nonetheless its pretty good

Edit again....

Open the model up in blender, then goto File>Export>Wavefront(.obj) Afterwards open up Milkshape and click File>import>Wavefront OBJ.
To export from Milkshape to CMP, use the CMP exporter plugin. If you dont have Milkshape, you can get it at the following link. It includes the plugin with it

If all else fails, send the .blend file over to me and I will get it into CMP format for you
