You determine the class of a ship based on it's weapons

Determine the Salvager or the Luxury Yacht, then, not to mention the Armored Transport, LABC, BHBC, Behemoth (it has 2 class 1 weapons mounts), and a plethora of other ships that mix weapons and shield classes.

However, the Zoner Carrier is one of the Battlestar variant replacements, so I believe it is still classed as a Battleship.
