Are you picking this up?
Our comm-techs didn't get any chatter on the channel in response to you, so, allow me to say that your message is received, Jackal.
Call me Bowman. We ID as Group Clarion, and for the moment, I'm running things. Our force has monitored this net for a while, but almost none of us are spacers. If the PLF isn't relaying with you, I suppose I can.
To your request: as you might imagine, our group isn't flush with spaceframes and able pilots. For available craft, we've got a Beetle fighter... ah, and an up-gunned Surveyor under some camo netting around here. Rather a few ships short of the 46th Fleet, I would wager. There's only three of us with any pilot training, anyhow.
I simply can't spare what little metal we have away from our own terrestrial objectives.
If you're fighting dirtside too, then I pray fortune's with you at least. We're trickling losses, little improvement seen in morale and our rate of recruitment's buggered without some visible wins under our belt.
If you want to do us a favor, here's what might help. If you or any other spacer forces can give us even a symbolic victory up there, preferably something accomplished by Militant forces, that'd be a real shot in the arm to the people here.
Until we have an answer to the Liberty Security Force though, it may not go as far as I hope. They've been hunting rebel leadership since the Pinnacle went down, maybe before. Their bloody informants are mixed in with the Zoner population too, keeping quite damned busy rooting out our supporters.
As long as they're operating unimpeded, any expansion of our efforts risks compromising the secrecy of our cells, hideouts and command structure, and that's a death sentence. My people are working our own solution to uncover their local intelligence networks, to try and find us an edge. Maybe once we have it, we can show our people we've still got some fight left in us.
Tell you what, Jackal. Do you wager you could get your hands on any LSF field agents in the Pennsylvania theatre? If you do, we'd love to have a crack at interrogation. Could well fill in some gaps in our knowledge. If we can discern the LSF's blind spots, we'll have something real to offer the resistance. I may even owe you guys cigars afterward.
