[font=Palatino Linotype]Well gentlemen, as I pointed out earlier, there is no reason for our relations to fall drastically. I have already expressed my personal regret about this event, but it was unavoidable.
Please respect the fact that we, despite our liking and desire to see the prospering of the Corsairs, cannot continue this war, because it has cost us too much already, and it could cost us everything if it continued.
We can continue assisting each other in all ways but militarily, primarily economically.
And furthermore, you are forgetting the fact that though you may see an increase in Outcast activity, you'll see a decrease in the Bretonian one, because we will drastically step up hostilities with them. Trading a bit more of one enemy for one enemy less. Smart trade?

Message reads:
It was first with extreme shock, dissapointment and then finally anger that i recieved this news of the actions taken by the Colonial Remnant. This is a clear violation of more than one treaty agreement, agreements that up until this point were mutually benieficial to both parties and had been it seemed, adhered to staunchly.
The Remnant entered into these treaties recognising the evil that is the spread of Cardamine, and recognising that a people who would align themselves with beings that threaten the entire existance of our species are to be fought and hounded.
No more it seems.
The Remnant is now content to do nothing, to sit idly buy while the Outcast vermin plies his filthy trade of Cardamine though their space. He is content to sit buy while these Outcasts venerate their "spirits", content to stand by and let those same "spirits" now act through their Outcast pawns unharrassed.
So be it, the Remnant have shown their true colours, they have shown the depth of their loyalty and honour. For it seems close proximity to the Outcasts has rubbed off on them and we see them revealed as as corrupt and underhanded as their neighbours.
So be it! This is the path they choose. I for one, will be making a proposal to all house Elders and what remains of the council that not a single shred of Corsair aid or equipment be sent to these people. That any remnant ship caught in our space be hunted as it it were a common trader. That any remnant ship scanned carrying Corsair weaponry be labelled a theif, and treated as all theives should be. That they should be denied aid, support and assistance, and that it be the duty of all Corsairs everywhere to treat these people with the same respect that they treated our agreements - none whatsoever.
Thus always for those who betray agreements of honour with the Corsair nation.
