Such as? (I'm not giving it a humped back though, that'd look ridiculous.)

In the darkening lights of Sirius space even the dead need a voice, even the dead need respect. And more importantly, the dead need to be taken home: Undertaker, Steward of the ++Tombship++

Try giving it a post war industrial feeling. Or mimicking the arch pattern found in the Rheinland engine designs as accent or motif.

My grandfather would probably suggest something about utilitarian German design.

Same way as you make ships. the model, export as .CMP

Only difference is you make the entry in Solararch.ini instead of shiparch.ini

Some points to remember are that adding animations to your models is complicated currently, so dock points wont be animated unless you import from another model or do them by hand.

Hitboxing can also be annoying when dealing with overly complex stations with lots of gaps.

That would look simply ridiculous.

In my opinion it is more or less fine the way it is, boxy.

Shipyards appear to simply be cradles really. I wouldn't see many artistic differences in the smaller details for them.
Basically, I would easily see that shipyard as a Rheinland one, though a more horizontally based shipyard might suit their battleships more since they are wider than others.

I'm glad that more people share my point of view.

Kudos to you sir, and go for it I say.

I recommend you make a design first.
