I personally have no objection to hunter caps raiding gamma (from a PvP point of view), it gives us some good sport.

From an RP point of view though, it doesnt make too much sense, as shouldnt they battering at the gates of the order, instead of taking trips into a very heavily defended pirate home system that always leeds to the loss of their ships.

Fun fact: Just because you don't like something, doesn't make it OORP. Nor does it make it metagaming, unbalanced or overpowered.

Im not blaming any official faction...im blaming Developers..

just look at the fact of different kind of enemy's that attack Gamma and Alpha

Gamma: RHA , Smokeones , MM's , BHG , Core , Apocalypse , Outcasts , lot's of BH untagged indy's and even Keepers

Alpha: Corsairs and sometimes but rarely BH indy's (im not counting GMG because there are only few of them and they never enter O.Alpha)

in average Gamma gets raided by someone every 4-5 hours, while alpha every 3-4 days or more...depends mostly on corsair mood

Gamma also has a larger player base... and massive amounts of capital ships make fun times for bomber swarms. <_<

Some of BH's ships doesnt make any sense at all. Thay are disbanded from core. NAP with order, and just hits corsairs?.. Jinx, your explanation doesnt fits in this correct question.

Now trowing cap ships on Corsairs, then their main objective is Order its a bit silly. Who wants to fight two front war?... Expecially to run attacks on both sides? I understand defending agianst Corsair forces from gamma side, but launching its fleets on it, to loose all the ships in the not primary matter doesnt sound logical to me.

I'm not whining or anything here. I rarely be in gamma in the first place as well as I rarely be up there then raids are made agianst it by BH's but for me it just doesnt make any RP sense. To trow huge resources on secondary targets.

Here is the thing: Missions in Gamma offer attacks against BHG. BHG NPCs spawn in Gamma en masse. Not even Outcast NPCs spawn in Gamma, so technically this gives Outcasts less of a right to raid Gamma than it does BHG... The reasons? Most likely bounties. There isn't much explanation why they show up in that area as much as they do, so bounties are the logical explanation...

As long as there are BHG NPCs in Gamma, BHG will have reason to attack it...

I played on disco 5 days during the last week, now guess how many corsair raids I've seen? right, 5.

back to topic: I think unannounced BHG-raids were prohibited when their numbers went too high. (about twice a day each in Alpha and Gamma)

It's time for a game of "Count the Raids"!

Are we talking about rationing raids now? One a day? Sounds both unworkable and unnecessary. The Corsair emergnecy chat is there for a reason. Respond in kind when you have a lot of backup ready and these raids will happen less often. God bless the supernova.

Killing Corsairs is not only in role-play; it is fun too!

I'd have reservations about mass fleets sitting in Crete orbit, mostly because that has proven to be the cheap tactic of choice used by hapless nubtards who don't get that heading towards Gamma is acutally heading backwards from where the Core wants to go - which is farther into Nomad space. But this lot will always plague us and ruin the game because they think this game is "Freelancer - Deathmatch". Plus any cap raids into Gamma now are performed without the forum bounties rule that was introduced a while back. And you know what that means, eh?

Regular attacks for profit? Fine by me. A quick strike and then get out, because that system can respond with overwhelming force when needs be - as it should. We'd target anything Order-related first of course - time was when we'd arrange raids just to nail the many Osirises alone. They're too few these days.

Attacking Alpha is less of a priority because the Maltesers don't vy with the BHG for control in Delta, they don't form an obstacle when it comes to travelling to and fro, they dont assist the Order and they have yet to attack the (haha) secret BHG base in Delta. And that rather irritating minefield and the long journey means that the opposition is always way too difficult to encourage repeat visits.

In short - killing Corsairs is not oorp for BHG. Just don't be a glutton. Kill other people too.

Dabadoru is just one outlying base. I'm not so sure what the infocards say, but I'd be inclined to believe it's more of a recon/supply base, whilst the main forces are held in O56/O15. Not quite a two-front war, seeing as they have the Corsairs on both sides too.

For the Core.
