TY very much all. I figured the guy who said "limit" was just PO'd because i wiped up him,and his buddy,1 on 2 without taking much damager myself. I have 3 CODE's,and 2 shield buster's,and 1 cannonball. Not that deadly a combo IMO.

Before you bolt on four Iron Hammers, be aware faction class nine guns are just as good if not better. (Except maybe when jousting.)

Depends largely on your aim, and the guns you're using with it.

Phoenix: Good for those with less-than-awesome aiming skills. Very low on energy consumption, and the only codename which is 4.00 refire. It also has 650ms projectile speed, which means it symcs perfectly with type2 debs. However, they only do 500 hull damage per shot, meaning most faction class9's are better. If however your character can't use factional guns, these might be a good choice.

Hammerfall: 3.03 refire codie, with a really nice looking projectile (imo). Low-ish energy consumption and fairly high damage ratings. I use these a lot.

Twilight: High damage 3.03. Very nice guns to use if you aim well. 600ms speed is limiting since the drain is so much higher than on a hammerfall.

Ecallibur: High damage, high energy, 2.00 refire. If your aim is good, then use them, especially if you have class9 guns which you can use that sync with the 600ms speed. Well worth it.

Golden Blade: These are 2.00 refire guns which have a projectile speed of 650ms. very worthwhile, and easier to hit with than other 2.00 refire codename guns due to a little extra range and higher projectile speed. Sync with the slower projectile debs.

Solaris: 5.00 refire guns, comparatively easy to hit with, but lacking a little in damage output. Worthwhile if you're looking for something effective to replace a factional gun with, but nothing to write home about.

Pretty much all codenames fall into the same sub-group as one of these guns I listed. They just vary in quality. Most high end codenames are fairly easily available, and prices from dealers have dropped lately due to the bomber changes. Contrary to popular belief, codenames are useful on VHFs. I use codenamed guns a lot, partly for how they look...
