' Wrote:I really hate to say this, but all your signatures look like you just slapped random brushes and images, they lack presentation and structure. I assume that you are just starting to use whatever program you use and you lack skills, but you have ideas. I strongly suggest you don't get discouraged and do tutorials. Getting better will not come in 1 or 2 days, it will not come in a week, trust me. Plan the outline of your artwork on paper first, just a simple sketch, and then transfer it into computer work.

I wish you all the best.

I know what you mean, it is really hard work to create a Picture Composing on PS. I use Milkshape and Autodesk 3DS too, for rendering ships, thanks to Schlürbi for the Tutorial.

iam not disapointed about your critic, iam very glad to read this kind of critic. i try Tutrials every evening, it is very easy to build up a picture if you follow the TUT, but it is very difficult to apply them on own created pictures. I will try it though. But i must refuse the Message that i use brushes at all the time, just have a look to my first works, i use Filters too, or Levelmasks.

I am glad you understood what I was trying to say. You have to understand that rendering ships is the easiest part. The hardest part is to create a composition that will look complete.
Having a lot of special effects is not the answer. Sometimes you can have a nice sig with little FX in it. If you are getitng bored with tutorials, just doodle in photoshop, explore your mind.

You can post your pictures here, even if you think they're not good, and we will tell you what works and what doesn't. What you should move around, change, switch, etc.

By sharing you work you will notice how you progress over time, which will motivate you further.

Yes that is my plan, post my pictures and getting critics, i know that ive a lack of creating pictures that give one the feel of a complete designing. So iam very glad to get hints for optimazations.

above you see my new one, i hope it is a bit better.

Sweet.

did you notice that the fighter has 2 engines? You missed the 2nd exhaust flame and whats up with that rhombus? I know it is suppose to be the flame, but you can do better.
Explore blur and levels for the ship, give it some distance blur and light variation on the hull. It looks a bit slapped on. These are the tricks you have to learn as you go, it comes with experience.
I like the background you chose, but the shape of the image is too simple. Also, the ratio of text to the ship size to the overall signature is out of proportion. What i mean by that is the ship and the text are too little comparing to the empty space of the background.

lets see how you change it...
