Flying through Tau-37 with Bloom enabled: don't do it.

An already bright system, it will burn your retinas out with its over-whiteness.


I'm not sure whether it's the intended effect, but bloom just makes everything glow... Interesting for a short while, but then just annoying.

There was a sig here, once.

There is an option, instead of blooming light, you can bloom shadow (or what would you call it)... Very useful for these systems. They become slightly darker, not lighter.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the key combination. It's one of the F(9-12) keys, possibly with Shift or Ctrl or something. I'm not on a computer with the bloom mod now.
