That, but I do understand why the admins won't let people do that. It's a bit detrimental to the roleplay environment, but overall it's better.

Because it's likely a bug that those Widows aren't Gaia's Angels or sumsuch. Someone put the wrong loot on the wreck. Where's the wreck located? So it can be fixed for 4.86.
And Rogue: What would be detrimental to the RP environment would be everyone and their mother flying around with Titans or Odins loaded out with Krakens or the like. "Yea, found a wreck in Corsair space, fixed it up. Found some guns in Orkney. Fixed them up. Hotwired em. Now I can kill anything easily."

I mean, if the wreck is out there, it's fair game to use the guns, from a mere IRP point o view. If you look at it OORPly, all the reasons that you listed come to mind. Bottom line, I agree that things are okay the way they are now.
