You use the term, 'who am I to judge,' as if everyone is right in their own eyes and blissfully ignore the fact Purple hair is requesting HELP because some people, who have taken it upon themselves to blow us out of space.
Take your self-righteous crap to whatever part of space an open minded pirate has before they blow you to atoms and stuff it.
When I'm in my ship, I can see who I'm facing. Each little encounter is a delight of ignorance and five seconds to find out if I'm going to get a beer, or get hulled.
I don't think a trade ship full of slaves, or Cardi, or a pirate hauling off someone else's cargo makes me a close minded tool when I start opening fire on the bastards.
The part about being free is you choose to be as smart or as stupid as you choose to be.

Heh, old man I hear every word she said - she's worried a buncha trigger happy gunthugs will waste a transport full of some potent cloud of bad juju, and it causing a lot of death on the station. Thing is, Barrier Gate has always seemed to have a "Gentlemans Agreement" that folks dont shoot each other around it - that's always been my experience - I've had chats with outcasts, USI, zoners, and even Bounty Hunters outside it, and never once worried that they might go weapons hot.

Im sure you'll tell me you've experienced different, then chalk it up to you being one of the "good" freelancers, and the fact the 98% apparently want to kill you because your a "good" freelancer, or whatever. All I can say on that is "cool story, bro"

Anyway, if your all piss and vinegar for the life you've chosen, then cool man, I wish ya all the luck in the galaxy.

Just don't complain so much dude. Remember, ya got no one to blame but yourself. Taking it out on other folks that you got a chip on your shoulder doesn't much make anyone wanna be your friend.

Regardless, stay safe out there - and if your getting blown up in a light fighter ("Scimitar" isnt it?) - you might think about becoming a better pilot so your not so easy to hit, or upgrading to something that aint so paper thin.

The whole time I was merely sympathizing with your predicament Ms. Purple hair, but quite frankly, if you're looking for security at a Freelancers base, hell, I couldn't even find that at a Freeport.

Man this guy is so entertaining, haha. Listen hotshot 'Jackie', i've never asked for help. I asked if there is some security for dangerous goods. Not for my safety, but rather the safety of the station. I have a crew and we take care of eachother. Pop your ears up, nightelf, before your head is falling out of the clouds.
And why should i take my glasses off? It's not like you could do it either...and mine also look better.

And thanks for the offer, Danny, but stations aren't that fascinating. The universe is my home.
