It's a 30 day interval, not a 28 day interval. Changing it to 14 day intervals will just cause you to bug for it to be 13 day intervals. It's fine as it is.

The point I am making is that there are factions which hits timer artificially by logging JUST before activity check, instead of being active through whole month.

So someone will log in twice a month instead of once. Big whooop.

I frankly couldn't care if a faction logged all its time two days before or two weeks before the check time. What matters is whether or not that time's being used to contribute to the server environment. If someone's idling in space, shoot one of us a PM and we'll take care of it. Otherwise, all it does is create more unnecessary work and bookkeeping.

Dab did it with his GC faction for months. The collective sentiment was "meh".

If someone wants a slot held by a dinosaur go ahead and let them fight for it. Factions which are beyond useless will fail to meet their timer. Like Dab's eventually did when they couldn't be bothered to push for the required time in the final days. This phenomina is not a tremendously big deal. Not nearly as big a deal as your one man merc group being named after a sexual act, which I think the admins should look into.

Now don't make another thread like this for at least three months.
