What are exact details on Spyglass and Discovery scanners? Can we get full list?

The Battleship scanner is okay as it is now. The 25K detection range is awesome. You can't click the target but most of the time you can predict where they are. And that also means big ships are shown visually like Battleships/Carriers and the Barge! If you have sharp eyes you can even see cruisers and some transports. Gunboats are tiny dots from that distance. Of course all this visual happiness is negated by nebulae and clouds which is also a good twist to the game.
A big +1 to the changes that happened here!

ONE QUESTION:
What happened to the local chat distance? It remained 15K or it changed according to the detection range of your scanner? That way you could 'spy' local chat with the BS scanner.

''you can predict most where....''really? can you see any Warship smaller than a cruiser let's say from 20 km? only BSs are visible!

Predict where they are? yes you can predict when they are near planets or stations,be cause there is where a noob and the experienced trolls tend to go, but so much about predicting, where a ship shouldnt be near an Enemy station; What a BS scanner should be usefull is to detect the large fleet raids in the past of dozen ships Far away from the lanes and any planet or stations, above and below the ecliptic!

I dont need to see them on my scanner list just to make a looong list of names and hard to select coz they scroll up and down all time, i have player list to see who is in the sistem no need for a scanner, so what's for the 250mil? for.........what?

The BS cargo scan range is almost that of a fresh new space shuttle from penn....that's the feeling.....i mean the cap must get really really close to scan something...Nova or CD? Missile or pulse?Heavy cap armor or a joke? or maybe just a simple 4k smuggler..!

Or at least make them selectable at 25km(or max range of the scanner). Then it would make a difference what scanner you use.

This. Otherwise everyone will keep sticking to Advanced Cargo Scanner.

The only purpose of Battleship Scanner I see-avoiding unwanted encounters, because battleship/cruiser/gunboat can't escape fight which already started.

I think the idea of making 'select range' different for each scanner is not new. It has been advised much earlier. However I don't believe it's possible. The select range is a constant. If you change it, that changes for all types of scanners.

The Scanners are what Govedo said:

Scanner, Advanced Deep, Advanced Cargo, Battleship and Spyglass scanners are changed.

TYPE (Range/Scan range):
Scanner (8000/1000)
Advanced Deep (14000/4000) - something like old advanced cargo.
Advanced Cargo (10000/6000) - similar previous type of BS scanner
Battleship (25000/3000)
Spyglass (25000/3000)
ALL OTHER (Same as before)

Also the BIG QUESTION still stands:
Is local chat distance the same 15K? Or is it dependent on scanner detect range? In other words: Can you hear only what you can see?

//Edit: Added scanner types description

I can hear things I cannot see, in-game.
Does that answer your question?

One of these days, there will be a clever, stylish and/or funny signature here.
This is still not that day, however.

I doubt that it is possible to select ship at more then 9,9k. If you cannot select it you cannot scan it.
