Zoners ingame are causing less trouble than Zoner-threads on forums.

Solution - stop creating Zoner-threads on forums.

There's no global issue about Zoners ingame. Yet you are making an issue out of it on forums. Solution is to solve the issue, which is located on forums.

Look Snak3, I don't know if you have noticed or not, but threads like these have kept popping up for quite a while due to a lack of change, thus logically we can assume that they will continue to pop up at least until change happens. And threads like these don't happen out of thin air, not in this amount and frequency. If it would be one person trying to force their view on others, I'd say, okay, you are right, the guy is overreactive. That's not the case here, multiple players have shown their dislike to the current status, multiple examples were given of abusement, backed by evidence, and honestly, I really wonder on what basis are you trying to neglect this, because you can be pretty sure about that simply saying "don't talk about this and it will disappear" will have near to no effect at all.

Instead you could help by thinking of an agreeable alternative to the current problematic situation. Ignorance won't help.

Maybe you could just kick out the people who are only posting in threads to destroy any attempt of serious discussion making finding solutions impossible, instead of locking threads and thereby giving those people exactly what they want?

What I don't like about your ID proposal is that it also punishes and restricts people who are not misbehaving. I have no problem with zoner transport ships in house space, as long as they don't think they are unpirateble by everyone because zoners let everyone dock. I have no problem with "mobile freeports", or even zoner combat ships, in house space as long as the particular zoner group was able to RP a logical diplomatic arrangement with the particular house government. By splitting the Zoner IDs, here's how a lot of these problems could be solved:

-The freely available "Freeport **" IDs will simply be rephacked hostile to house navy and police. That will keep the zoners who aren't handling their own diplomacy via their own ID out of house space without any need for additional lines about restrictions (which aren't enforced by game mechanics) in the ID. That will apply unless the house has a reason to allow zoners from a particular station to be friendly (like Bethlehem or Freeport 3 and for example)

-Freeport 9 will be hostile to Outcasts and neutral to Corsairs, Freeport 10 will be hostile to Corsairs and neutral to Outcasts, and any faction who abuses a Freeport to stage attacks can be set to hostile without affecting every single zoner in Sirius.

-Custom zoner IDs will be able to broker diplomatic deals with anyone they want, without opening the permission for everyone to be abused.

-Different Zoner groups can even be hostile to each other, which will keep zoner groups who misbehave from abusing the assets of another zoner group.

Basically being a zoner will be something like an "open diplomacy", which is really what it already is IRP, but which is made impossible by game mechanics if every zoner in Sirius is affected by the same rep status.

From now on, no more Zoner threads. If a player has, what he feels, is a serious and legitimate Zoner idea, then post it in Players Request. The admins will discuss it.

Also, I may have been mistaken about Harrington not being Karlotta. The IP search brought up another community member's name.
