In the split fights there is actually no use of the bombers and gunboats , I don't like the fact that 2 ship classes are staying out of action.

Mixed ofc. Separate fights with caps staying behind would be only good if they could actually work as temporary bases for snubs, eg. if they could respawn on them and re-engage.

However, Only if it's balanced between classes.
For example; there should be 2 cruisers for each 10 snubs, 1 battleship for every 10 snubs and so on.
Because it would make a lot more sense for having 6-7 time snubs over caps.
