What is your primary source of income?

Trading is usually my main source of income, mining (usually helium for a new character) is probably second, selling enemy pilots (either from missions or from defending myself from NPC pirates) is probably third, smuggling is definitely fourth and payments for missions fifth. Note that much of the cargo I use for trading is obtained from enemy pilots and a little is from looting shipwrecks. Now that I think about it, selling codenames from shipwrecks probably has earned me more than trading (which was my answer in the poll).

I do Mining, then Trading/smuggling, then missions, then selling ships, then piracy. It is hard to focus on one because you know that one day someone will find your pattern and end it.

PIracy is mostly for the RP of it, but I dont do it much(six hours total on my piracy ships)

i trade with one of my characters and when i make enough i use that money to go exploring and sometimes smuggling with a different character

I'm getting my money with selling things like cloaks, jump drives etc... I get more than enough to buy whatever I want.
I do all the other things as well, but just for the fun and the rp.

Trading is the number one for me here. Second would definitely be mining and third POB device construction ( cloaks, cl. disc. ..etc. ) .

Being partially responsible for a trading faction, it is mostly trading, though recently it has been a mixture of smuggling/escorts. Tried cap mission a while back too, they were surprisingly profitable.
