My main character is only a member of the Liberty Navy (npc faction) but I'm playing him as. A warrent officer within the Liberty Navy, if you read the recruitment information thread for Liberty Navy you will see that it says go to West Point Naval Academy and being a naval veteran myself aviation in particular I know only officers fly as Pilots and there are two types of officers commissioned being those that go to the academy or OCS(officer candidate school) however there is in Naval History another type of officer a warrant officer who happens to have been a enlisted man who has received a warrent to lead, small difference between commissioned officer and warrant officer is a commissioned officer even the lowest grade is above any warrant officer and warrant officer is above an enlisted man basically a warrant officer is an enlisted man that has the Privileges at the responsibilities of a commissioned officer. A paper pusher that the grunts respect because he does work.
