well thats sad. i regret not joining OSC while it was still up and running now. was under the impression that disco officall factions don't die. was taking my sweet time exploring and learning disco one faction at a time.
Thank you for offering roleplay as OS&C in the past. It's likely one of the worst IDs and it's a miracle that you guys managed to Keep it afloat for quite a while. Kudos for that.
But I fully agree: If it is only a grind, if it's life-support only... it's better to let go and put the energy into something else that actually is fun.
Folks put a lot of work into factions and, understandably, they don't want to see that effort seemingly vanish when the faction loses its momentum so they keep it going as long as they can.
It is a bit sad to see it go as the faction had dozens of plans from simple things like moving settlers and homesteaders, to more complex stuff like guided tours of areas and a tourism cold war with EFL over Kusari.
However all the plans in the world mean nothing if all you get out of an hours flight is a single "Hello" and sometimes not even that. I don't know what caused the sudden shift from living sector to glorified battleground but it's an atmosphere that dependent factions like OSC simply can't survive in, that's my opinion anyway.
