Back to a serious note...


Tried to keep it as plain as possible, what do you think?

[edit] hmph, need to erase ever so slightly on the smoke at the top, to give it more of a natural look.

I like this one, but as you said, perhaps soften the smoke on top so it isn't cut off so abruptly. Also, not sure if I'm liking the logo on the side; reminds me of something, but I can't quite place my finger on it. Try it with the tattoo logo, perhaps?

Resized it, adjusted the background around the planet, and also, burned the background to make it look like there is only one light source, also done the planet a tiny bit...

Looks much better now. Still, I dunno, the dark part looks a tad bit plain now o.O Maybe try to add some stars in there? Right now, it's blank, which is a bit boring for my eyes;). Again though, nice work with it.

I like this one. Simple, yet without being boring. The only thing I dislike is the transparency on the back of the ship, even though that's surely intended. The contrast between that and the front of the vessel being very solid and opaque just isn't doing it for me, I'm afraid. As I said, though, the concept is nice. Cutting out the jump-hole-type-circle-thingy must have been annoying; I suck at stuff like that >_<

All in all though, very nice and original work, I must say. Some tweaking here and there would be nice, but then again, so it is with every piece of work that is made. Perfection may be impossible to reach, but we can get damn close:).

Thanks for your comments and suggestions mate... I added some stars to the second sig after I darkened it, by copy and pasting different star sections from around the sig but changed their opicity... Might need to be tweaked a bit:)


And aye it does look a bit weird going transpafent, might try a color gradian next time and see how it looks after that.

As for now, I found a tut I have been looking for, for ages and thought I'd put it to practice on something simple.

That one was probably the most fun to make of all time to be honest.
There was a group of us on ventrillo about 1am, just having a laugh, so I put snippits of the convo in there hehe.

Needs to be edited a bit after seeing it on this colour background tho :unsure:

Might want to lift the character up a bit so that the bottom is inside the border of the sig, though. It's the only thing that irks me. (Yes, I can be too much of a perfectionist. Sue me.:))

You got some REALLY NICE Stuff here m8 I notice that most signatures on this forum uses transparen backgrounds (at specific parts of the siggie).. I've never done that kind of signature before(ok... I made one today).
but anyway you got some real nice stuff here veeeery talented
