You know, it may be cool if you shortened the boat-pontoons things and made em a little less bulky. It seems like hydroplane right now and not a spacecraft. you may want to also try making one longer than the other and bending them down slightly. Or maybe take one side of the pontoons and turn it into a solar panel/sail that all kusari ships have. I like the back part of your model much better than the pontoons, it looks very kusari-ish it will look sweet with that big, plasma-spewing effect that kusari ships have.
Anyway, my two cents. Thanks for producing a yet another very well rendered model. :nyam:

This ship has already been submitted in a slightly modified version of what was posted earlier in thread. The "rudders" are purple now and the cockpit window is black. As for the size; here are two comparison pictures that where posted earlier in the thread.

This ship has already been confirmed by Igiss that it is up and running for the next beta.

I apreciate the suggestions, and would love them on my current project; http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7409

This is kinda a dead thread now, but keep up the support and I'll keep making the ships. :D

Its a nice model, and it blends into the existing designs very well. Its a bit like the Gunboat - which looks antique sort of - and you d allmost expect an ancient pirate ship cannon there. thats what i like about the kusari design, it combines ancient looks with modern design concepts - like the dragon/chimaera, which is still the very best looking model in the game, in my opinion.

Now while that bomber is great, the only thing that sort of troubles me is when you compare it to the other bombers. the rheinland bomber is good and its well into the scheme. but the warren ( i think that was the name ) - when i checked it out with CMD model viewer - well it looks much much bigger, bulkier, heavier armoured.

i wonder if the looks will be reflected ingame. i wouldn t mind seeing a bomber like the warren have a ton of armor, but a manouverbilty of a brick, while the kusari bomber would have a rather heavy fighter armor ( maybe 8000-9000 ) but was agile like a VHF.

8k-9k is pretty light...what is the chymera armour?
the VHFs I've flown have all had over 10k...

According to the current stats that Igiss has implemented for it, the Kusari Bomber has the smallest hull of all bombers. It can all be found on the current Beta read-me.

I think the fins could be larger, but it's probably too late for that.

And Unselle, many VHFs have > 10,000 hull, such as the Dragon, Blood Dragon and Eagle.

...that's what he said. Said that the bomber was light in armour compared to fighters...
