That is just... sad. I mean, we have so much fun in Rheinland with the bunch of factions we have there. I just can't understand why pushing ones ego with pointless discussions in New York should be better then doing some serious RP.
Liberty and New York are the top of the population charts 24/7!
This is Libertylancer, make no mistake!
Without a diaspora from Liberty, then the developer's efforts to create Gallia are basically a waste of time. I am sure they will get half a dozen or so players thee to appreciate it - but many wont have a reason to go to such a hostile area of space - the rest will still be in Liberty!

The reason why there are so many folks in liberty is cos theres lots of pirates there. Particularly NY. So, us navy guys attempt to step up. However, the other useless navy ships are all either doing their own thing, sitting stationary or just camping a useless location. Come on gang if we want to secure NY, AT LEAST DO IT PROPERLY. You know how the Direct Enforcement Division in eve do it? Yeah do that. Ships at each jump gate. On both side. Camping the pirate bases. No one comes in no one goes out. Patrol the lane, not just sit at the gate. I end up patrolling the lanes myself when I see pirates, and when I call for backup, I get owned. I just lsot my cruiser in colerado to a few fighters cos no backup arrived. why? all engaged in mindless chatter in NY.
Anyway, back to topic-ish, PIRATES, GO ELSEWHERE!! Its so not RP to attack the capital of sirius with so many navy ships. I know you greedy scum want money so no need to get out alive with the cargo, but just go pirate elsewhere or sometihng. Not making everyone go to new york.
