Need opinion on this 'anti-Synth Paste drug'

This is true, but deployed tactically, and finding a way to use it on Stuttgart harmlessly to the planet is the prmiary goal of the LWB.

Lowering Synth Paste income in Rheinland with this item is the main goal, to force the company to leave. The war is hindering them to a point too.

I just thought of something.

If this drug was used on any scale on a station or planet, it could easily lead to massive product recalls.... possibly thinking that there is a baterial infection in a batch or something simmilar, not to mention possible lawsuits from everyone on a station becomming ill after consuming the product

but again, I wonder about long term side effects of ingesting this drug... changing eating habits, foods being processed differently, possible chemical changes in the blood making more unpredictable changes

As for the effects overtime, that is what research is for. If that fails, pharmaceuticals for all! So Cryer could profit, maybe secretly fund... hmm...

i would eat it anyways, but their components are glucose and other human vital nutrients, i think if you make a human to not tolerate this kind of stuff he would starve to death.

And in the other hand if werent for Synth paste more than a half of sirus pop would die.

Of course, it is also flavored on top of that. Perhaps it is something in the flavoring that this drug would interact, producing something that led to severe vomiting? On a simple level, if the pH was changed enough, doesn't that create such an effect?

Well, a PH change would have to me rather large, I mean, it would have to chnage almost 5 points, and even then it might just cause heartburn. It would have to interact with the flavoring, As it so happens that Synth brews its own unique flavors, and hence, would only inflict Consumers off the paste.
My only concern, would be when they relize the only food they can afford wont stay down.
affecting the flavoring wouldnt kill the plant though, so something Genetically Talored would be required.

affecting the flavoring is an interesting idea really....but I don't know if it is enough of an impact...I mean the flavor can just be altered...not to mention how many there are.

I still rather like the idea of a drug causing the consumed synthpaste being routed straight into fat cells...

but that's not my call

maybe more studies are required into what triggers vomiting...the chemicals that trigger it at least

I need to take notes here, this RP hasn't been on my agenda... University course... work about to start up, family issues. You know the usual that annoys me.

Some of these ideas make more sense than mine, I am no scientist, so my theories were educated guesses mainly.

Maybe there can be a way for the LWB to be able to contaminate the Synth Paste from orbit or tactical insertions, or even clandestine operations on the planet surface with the drug/mutagen.

Either way or whatever the end result, the RP is still very experimental.
