Seriously, shires eat cruise disruptors like they're candy. You can fire one in the wrong direction and a shire will go and chase that thing down and munch on it.

Maybe they do better with the new transport turrets, but I can't imagine them surviving a bomber. Maybe a shoddy bomber.

You might have a fair chance with a gunboat though.

In addition to that, the Shire can be CDed by NPCs and gets spinned around even by ice particles. Thats the reason I sold mine.
