Because on Earth, some lifeforms by nature what they created along with other stuff, they would simply tweak with it, if the lore's right about them finding th tweking of lifeforms and stuff amusing, Earth would be a toy box for them, if not a park, as I said, the neares thing to Earth in Sirius is Gaia, and it probably has something to do with the structure in Newcastle. How do you know they're more complex? in the lore it is not stated how comple they are, only thing that would get near that is their ability to shape themselves, but nothing about high genetic complexity, but high genetic adaptability, which would go in part with some microorganisms high mutation rate.

' Wrote:This next part is just a little fun fact for you since you're not sure if viruses are alive or not. Back in biology, I learned that there were six things that defined a living organism and viruses only have five of these things. The one thing they couldn't do was reproduce (on their own at least). Living organisms need to be able to reproduce asexually or sexually with a member of their own species. A virus can't do these things.

Ok then let's call the organic robots then:)

I think Nomads are more complex than viruses because they actually have sentience. Viruses don't. The rest of this stuff I'm not going to deal with. I've actually gotten very tired of constantly coming back in here. It's not like what either of us believe will affect gameplay anyway. Sirians don't know about Sol's fate and it's more than likely that Sol will never be added in the foreseeable future. If you want a definite answer, talk to Igiss.

On a side note, glad you enjoyed the fun virus fact.:)

Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams
Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction
Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid
Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space
Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Liberty and Nomad Backstory, Very interesting - read it!

I think that's more like just being more advanced than "geneticall complexity" (I think)

Possibly it would be covered in a next version anyways that would cover a Sol storyline and add Sol, like next to gallia's storyline.

And about the Virus, I've heard some people calling them zombies though:lol:

They made the Anubis, and judging that they would be in a hush for making them, don't expect a Lighting bruiserish ship, so it was crappy, yet they were able to fight with them right? even in game it's a really strong ship, albeit it's a flying box. And yes, the Order is a Ragtag Bunch of Misfits, not a Badass Army, but I didn't say they were the badass army, I meant that Humans are Warriors, and the Order are humans, so it applied enough for not getting wiped out, and even beating the nomads, i they had more people, say the LN, well nomads would be in REAL trouble, and they took the order as trouble.

The nomads are gone (mostly), your argument is invalid
We beat them once.

Toledo wasnt Seiged, it was destroyed once.

They made them and had time to master it before the final fight.

Now, the Nomads return to kick our asses. They are not mostly gone, not in Disco. In fifteen, years, the Nomads rebuilt. They are back, they kick our asses, and we are 50x what were were then.

And stop saying phletobinum without explaining what the hell it means.

That's sort of the thing-- phlebotinum is a catch-all term that can mean different things-- magic, spirits, superscience, psionics. It's the thing that allows you to ignore normal laws of physics for convenience of the plot, setting, gameplay, etc.

Millions, or billions of years ago the Dks were in sirius messing round wit them purple worms, the nomads. And mess around with them they did, in the process discovering(?) that they were of an aural nature (or is that US who discovers that after we hit sirius?) Anywho they most likely cataloged and took samples in whatever way the DK do their things.

Certain lore suggests there might'a been a lil squabble between the DK and the Nomads - dunno if this is directly related to WHY the nomads were turned into popsicles but in any event, there they were - popsicles - and the DK said bye bye to sirius off to destinations we do not know (yet).....

Who knows, maybe in our sector of the galaxy they stopped off and said Lets try that nomad thing (tinkering) again and (this time?) created (or again?) the nomads but (because of the possible squabble in sirius) made changes to parts of the nomads(think directive 4 robocop)....

Oh hey look, native population to this planet down here... lets see whats up with them while we mess around with our nomad things....

Maybe they DID tinker with us and current humans are the result of the DK?

Hmm the DK like to do tests and are very inquisitive(not exactly godlike but still stupidly powerful), they wanna see what happens here and there, so they ohh i dunno get people to have beef with each other, first its tribal beef, then its racial beef, religion, politics, pepsi/coca-cola, hmmm maybe, from clues with the sirius nomads they took over humans on earth and at one great juncture we find ourselves at the starlancer time frame.

Humans, being the tricky self preserving folk we are, created these sleeperships and intended to escape TO THE STARS! well, the stars beyond our system that is while at the same time the DK are like alright this is dumb lets cleanse this area and Whooop there it is, that Big Bad Mother--er uh, samuel l jackson - pops up and does its thing to the sun and na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, gooood byeeeee to Sol, just missing the factions by a hair....

OR alternatively starting around them saying "this is dumb" they instead say, HEY, lets see what happens if we send these fools to sirius and with some of their body snatchin' solarian nomads they in fact craft the idea for the humans to take off to Sol, the blowing up of the sun to eradicate the Coalition, who for the sake of this suggestion, did not meet the requirements of waht they wanted to investigate and viola OFF to Sirius we go..... Cue Freelancer single player and the rest is as they would say, is history!

Oh and at some point i meant to make the Aural nature of the nomads relevant, ill do taht now,, maybe just MAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYBE, the solarian nomads did not like the noises we were making and were like, yo shut that crap off! BOOM shalakalaka BOOM! and so there went sol, it was just cosmic coincidence we were on our way out the door.

Oh and that whole The nomads found a way to time travel thing could work too:D They are said to be very intelligent once they figure things out (or i may have read someone say that, whichevers clever)

As for a reason to go back, maybe we find some random artifact(s) describing the "sol galaxy" (and IF IF IF we dunno waht taht is in disco, maybe we WANNA find out waht it is) and OFF to this "new" place we trek....

From there a whole new Sirius-centric but Sol related RP thingamajig could arise.... more lore into nomads or DK even?

Alright ill shut it down, im sure most a ya'll done fell asleep or journeyed off by now

;)
